COVID BOOSTERS 2023 *****

Please be advised that we can only offer our patients aged 75yrs old and over the Covid Booster in October due to significantly high demands on the surgery at this time.  You will receive the flu vaccine @ this visit also.  Please contact us by email@ end of September/early October.  cambridgeclinic@gmail.com

Pt's not in this age group (under 75yrs) will need to check with their local pharmacies  or the HSE for covid boosters.  Please note participating pharmacies will also be providing covid and flu vaccines this year.

We will also offer the HSE Flu Vaccine to our patients aged 65yrs or over.  This can also be obtained in  your local pharmacies.

Telephone Consultations

We can now offer telephone consultations between you and your GP. This may be something that could benefit you and avoid you coming into the surgery if preferable to you. Please request your doctor of choice and we will contact you with a date and approximate time for the call to take place. Please ensure we have your correct contact number. Please be advised of standard €65 fee for telephone consultations.  This may be reduced depending on the length and detail of the consult, at the GP's DISCRETION ONLY.

Prescriptions

We can now send your repeat prescription electronically, directly to your pharmacy. In order to do this we will need the following:

1. Your name and date of birth.

2. List of medications requested and for length of time, ie one month, three months, six months.

3. Your chosen pharmacy name and address.

Once we receive your order the pharmacy will receive the prescription 48 hrs later.  Please email us request or drop in list to reception.

Please be advised of €20 fee for private prescriptions & continuing medical certs.

We will contact you for payment when this is being processed.

Follow up visit within two weeks (same complaint): €45

3rd level students aged 18-24 yrs: €45

Opening hours: 8.30am - 5.45pm Monday - Friday  & closed 1-2pm lunch.

Consultations are by appointment only - please contact us by email or tel 01 497 3917 and choose option 3 for appointments line.

Email is welcome for any request to the practice admin team, for making appointments, requesting repeat prescriptions, test results etc. 

Please note that it is not best practice to request or answer clinical advice via email. We cannot email any personal medical information, such as test results, referral letters, medical certs etc due to GDPR regulations. We can print paper copies for you to collect for you to forward to relevant bodies. Please be advised €5 fee for this request. Pre-ordered referral letters, certs, etc. must be collected from reception. Social Welfare certs when requested will be sent directly to the department electronically for you.
