Practice history

The practice was started in 1954 in 15 Palmerston Road by Dr Vincent Doyle who also practiced from Bride Street Health Centre, Dublin 8. He was joined by Dr Liam Byrne in the 1970s and they were joined by Dr Joseph Martin in 1984 and later by Dr Pauline King and Dr James Keogh.

The practice moved into its present location in Rathmines in 1986 and the Bride Street practice moved into The Liberties Primary Care Centre at the old Meath Hospital site in 2004. This is now referred to as The Camden Clinic/Meath Primary Care Centre. Our Doctors no longer practice from the Primary Care Centre but are based here in Rathmines full time.
